IT Assessments

1. Information Technology Status and Improvements:

Aporia provided an information technology assessment to document the current state of technology, and make recommendations to improve performance, dependability, security, backup and recovery of the client’s information technology infrastructure and process. Aporia audited and verified each computer for software licenses (including remote locations), assisted client in improving performance on their application and implement the recommendations made in the IT Assessment including developing the project plan & schedule; manage the project schedule and team.


2. Verification of IT infrastructure and Security Policy development:

Aporia conducted an IT audit to verify the IT infrastructure, developed security policies and conducted an internal network vulnerability assessment. This audit identified all hardware, software, applications, network and its utilization in place today. Aporia also tagged the physical computer assets, identified the user of IT assets and documented the IT infrastructure and users.


3. Security and Vulnerability Assessment:

The project involved conducting an automated security assessment with third party security software which discovered various vulnerabilities. Also, after a detailed analysis of the end results and reports viable solutions to the vulnerabilities were produced. Finally, a clear security policy was outlined and will be developed by the client.


4. Information Systems Audit and Risk Assessment and Enterprise Network Audit, Assessment and Design Review:

Aporia was to follow the ISO 17799 standard guideline to conduct this assessment. Aporia reviewed the relevant threats against the in-place safeguards to reveal cost-effective recommendations for improving the customer’s information security posture.


5. Network Assessment:

External Vulnerability Assessment: Aporia conducted an External Vulnerability Assessment to assess all external network and internet risks and potential network and security problems of the client’s network. Aporia conducted this assessment utilizing third party software.


6. Network Security Assessment:

This involved performing a vulnerability assessment on all a selected group of internal IP hosts. We produced a report that listed all the vulnerabilities found, rank them by severity, and then describe how to remediate the risk. We then remediate all the identified vulnerability.
